The week of September 17th we sent home the Progressbook registration key home with all students. This is an individualized letter specific to each student. Please follow the directions on that page to stay updated about your child's progress between quarter report cards. If you have lost this page please contact us. We made copies of them before we sent them home in case they didn't make it home. To our understanding these were only sent home with 3rd grade students. If you need this information for your students in older grades you will have to contact Brenda Milburn [email protected] or Terri Reece [email protected] in the office. Teachers can not print this information for you. The district utilizes Progressbook so that as a parent you are informed of the most current grades for your student. This is how we communicate how your child is progressing academically throughout the year. If you have a question about a specific assignment or a general concern after viewing grades please email us. Dear Parents/Guardians,
As a district we have adopted a program called Edulastic. This program allows students to take in class assessments and complete assignments online. These are not additional assessments/assignments. These are the assessments/assignments the students would already be completing, but instead of doing them paper/pencil this system allows us to create them in an online format. We are using this to help provide more timely feedback. Each student has their own account. Since these are online and this is a new system, I am not able to print paper copies of student responses and send them home. However, the online system offers you everything a paper copy would (their grade, but also which questions they missed, what they responded, and what the appropriate response was). It will also show you how they are performing on the specific state standard. I have listed below directions for how to see your students assessments and assignments from home.
Please email us if you have any questions! Sincerely, Mrs. Fry & Miss LeFevre [email protected] [email protected] Dear Parents/Guardians,
This year in reading most of the assignments will be completed online using Google Classroom. This means that paper copies or grades might not be sent home but will be entered into Progressbook. If you would like to view your students’ feedback for the online assignments please review the following steps in order to login to your child’s Google Classroom account. Step one: In Google search for “google classroom” and sign into your child’s account using their school email address and their 2009 number. ([email protected] and 2009_ _ _ _ - students should have their 2009 number memorized, however if they cannot tell you, feel free to email us). Step two: Click on the correct class and find the assignment you would like to view. Step three: Open the assignment and click “view feedback. Please let us know if you have any questions or cannot figure out how to sign in. Thanks! Mrs. Fry & Miss LeFevre [email protected] [email protected]
We will be posting various parent resources here throughout the year. Typically we also send out an email with this information, but we also like to keep it all in one place for you to make it easier! Some things you will find here will include:
